Last week Brooke came to spend the week with us. She helped grandpa celebrate his birthday, road her bike at the park, made crafts, helped grandma bake a huckleberry pie, watched movies and shopped for school clothes. What more could a girl ask for? When it was time to take her home, we decided to spend the weekend in Vancouver. We rented a two bedroom condo. Brooke was so excited about it she could not wait to get there. On the way she said her stomach kept flipping inside. When we arrived at the condo she was the first one in and had her room picked out within seconds...of course she wanted the loft room! Here she is with her papa watching TV!
The next few pictures were taken on our way home from Vancouver. Even though we don't have any pictures of the event, I need to mention that we spent three days in the huckleberry patch north of Carson and left with nine more gallons of the most delicious huckleberries!!! I guess you could say our freezer is full!
