Thanksgiving Fun

Our Thanksgiving was a bit different than we had expected it to be this year, but it all turned out fine, none the less. We were all prepared for fifteen people for Thanksgiving dinner. But, when we woke up to 10 inches of snow on Monday morning, and had delayed and canceled school for the next three days, we knew our plans would be changing. However, we still ended up with nine people and had a wonderful time together.

My mom and Jim had planned to come from Montana, but after starting out and finding the roads quite a mess, they decided to turn back and stay home. My cousin Doug, his wife Nancy, and their sons, Chris & Jeff were coming from Seattle, but also decided it was to dangerous to make the trip. Of course, we would have loved to have had them all here, but we think they made wise choices, due to the circumstances. We hope they all had a good Thanksgiving anyway.

Still holding hands after all these years.

Here Ali says, " I think I look like, I don't remember what they're called... Oh ya, a pilogram."

Brooke was proud of the U of O pinata she made Grandpa Marc for Christmas. She worked awfully hard on it, and did a really great job!

On Friday evening, we enjoyed listening to Brooke play her violin.

On Saturday evening we had a sleepover with Lauren and Ali. They had a great time. They played games on the Wii and on Sunday we had fun playing outside.
