Vacation: Day Six

The last pictures taken in Zion

The lodge where we stayed, gave us some free tickets to the IMAX, which was directly next door. So on our last morning, we decided it would be nice to watch a movie on the history of the Native American Indians in Zion. It was a very interesting movie about how the Indians believed that the area was hunted. The movie also told of the early exploration of the white man in Zion, and how it all began and became the national park that it is today.

After watching the movie, we visited an art gallery and a curio shop to purchase somethings to take home to our granddaughters. We then drove to St. George to the airport and flew home. In Salt Lake City, our plane was delayed for about two hours because of engine trouble. We were a few hours late getting home that evening, but nevertheless glad to be home and in our own beds.

All in all, we had a great vacation with wonderful memories and good pictures to boot.
