Dust Storm

In a previous post Tracy showed Corey and I getting ready to go fishing before he headed back to Germany. We were a little concerned because we kept hearing reports of 20-30 mile an hour winds. On our way out past Rattlesnake the dust was thick in the air and we wondered if we would even get to fish. This Google Earth picture shows the dust storm going by.

It was a windy day, but learning to use my new pontoon proved to be an amusement for those watching. First my oar support broke and the wind blew me back into the reeds where I repaired the problem. However, it meant I had to oar back across the lake once again. It was still nice to get out!
