IT IS HOT IN THE TRI-CITIES

We now believe there is more than just one bunny. Rather it appears there are several, and the lawn seems to be showing the wear. It may be a lean week for the rabbit since we are up in the 100's all week and the canal that supplies our irrigation water had a break in its wall near Badger Canyon. It flooded several homes and will not be repaired for 7-10 days. This means we will not have any irrigation water until it is fixed.

We took this picture on Saturday after we picked Brooke up in the Dalles where we met Cheridy and Amas. They headed back to OSU where Amas is hosting a group of students for his program. They are putting in a large number of these wind generators all up and down the Columbia Gorge. We saw one of the trucks hauling a section of the tubing up the hill. It is amazingly big.

Brooke has been quite amused playing with this globe-like ball and a Google slinky. At any rate, we decided that this was the new Google Earth.
