Chinook Pass Trail

On Saturday we decided to take a ride up to Chinook Pass. It was a perfect day for hiking. When we stopped at the top of the pass we noticed there was a trail to a lake that was only 1.5 miles. It was a great trail and it even had huckleberries along the way.

This picture shows the huckleberries on both sides of the trail. The only problem was that it was straight up or straight down. Needless to say we didn't pick many huckleberries. :(

This is Sheep Lake along the Pacific Crest Trail. It was dotted with tents all along the lake, and one foolish young boy who thought he would try swimming.
