Annual Trek to the Boulder

Here is the group that made the trip to the Camp on the Boulder this summer. Everyone had a great time, each doing thier own thing!

There was a cabin that was modified to accomodate those interested in making crafts. The girls were estatic to have a place to create their best works.

The creek that runs through camp provided entertainment as the girls sent ducks down the stream one after another. There were two slight mishaps as both Ali and Lauren slipped into the creek coming out wet and muddy.

The girls spent hours at the playground and posed on this large rock for Grandma Tracy.

Meal time always brought good company and exciting conversations about the day.

This was just too good a picture to not include.

More food ...

The girls were hoping that they could help grandpa land the next fish.

After serveral hard days of fishing, nothing like a good back massage.

Let's play some cards!

Lauren gives Grandpa Jesse a big hug and we all want to say thanks for the great time we had on the Boulder.

This is one way to install a new light, but you wouldn't catch me up there. The ladder is bad enough, but a ladder in a front loader is going too far for me. I guess you improvise when you don't have all the conveniences of city life.

One last video with the big frisby. It provided everyone a good time and some extra entertainment.
